IPTV Player — Privacy Policy
IPTV Player (“the App”) is a media player for IPTV services. This policy explains how the App handles your information. In short: the App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with the developer or any third party. Everything the App stores stays on your device.
Bring your own provider
The App does not include, sell, or provide any channels, streams, or media. To use it, you enter your own Xtream Codes login or M3U playlist URL from an IPTV service that you already subscribe to. The developer does not operate any content or account servers and has no relationship with your provider.
Information the App handles
- Provider credentials (server URL, username, password): stored only on your device, encrypted using the Android Keystore. They are sent only to the provider server you configure, in order to sign in and stream — never to the developer or any third party.
- Your library data (watch history, resume positions, favorites, downloaded files, and app settings): stored only on your device. It is never uploaded.
- No analytics, no advertising, no tracking. The App contains no analytics or ad SDKs and does not create a user profile.
Network access
The App communicates only with the IPTV server address that you enter. Any data you stream or download is delivered by that provider and is subject to their privacy policy and terms, not this one.
Permissions
- Internet & network state — to stream and download from your provider.
- Notifications — to show download progress.
- Foreground service (data sync) — to keep a download you started running until it finishes.
Data sharing
The developer does not collect, store, sell, rent, or share your data. No user data leaves your device except the requests the App makes directly to the provider server you configured.
Data retention & deletion
All App data is stored locally. You can remove your saved connection and clear library data from within the App, and uninstalling the App permanently deletes all of its data from your device.
Security
Your provider password is encrypted at rest using a key held in the Android Keystore. No password is stored in plain text.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
